Sweeter Than Honey is a 365-day devotional journey that leads the reader
"Then they will know that I am the Lord." (25:11)
"Then they will know that I am the Lord." (25:17)
"Then they will know that I am the Lord." (26:6)
"Then they will know that I am the Lord." (28:23)
"Then they will know that I am the Lord." (28:24)
"Then they will know that I am the Lord." (28:26)
“Thus says the Lord God: When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and manifest My holiness in them in the sight of the nations, then they shall dwell in their own land that I gave to My servant Jacob. And they shall dwell securely in it, and they shall build houses and plant vineyards. They shall dwell securely, when I execute judgments upon all their neighbors who have treated them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.” (Ezekiel 28:25-26)
When I read God’s Word each morning, I find inspiration and insight that keeps my day on track. Join me on this journey. Let’s settle in with His Word—it’s His Love Letter to us. Did you know that? Let’s read it like a Love Letter, expecting to glean something for our walk with Him every day. Let’s look for peace in the chaos and strength for our weaknesses. Even on our busiest days we can carve out a few minutes to refocus on the important. Can’t we? We may have to get up a little earlier, when the house is still and quiet, or stay up a few minutes after the others are tucked in for the night, but we can do this! I know we can!

Taking my Kindle on a family camping adventure this weekend and plan to read STH in preparation for end of September blog review!
YEA!!! Happy camping!
I remember being struck with that repeated phrase in Ezekiel, too. I had not grown up in a Christian home, but made a profession of faith while attending church with a friend as a third-grade child. I was a teenager when God led me to a Christian school and a good church where I was regularly under Biblical teaching, and finally there placed my trust fully in God based on His Word.
Barbara! I came to know the Lord in the 3rd grade as well! :)
I love reading in the Word about His characteristics and attributes. He is such a loving and caring God; but holy and just as well. It will take forever to know all about Him!
I love that, Jerralea! —> "It will take forever to know all about Him!" We've got forever! :)
I did not know that about Genesis. I learned something new today. Sweeter than Honey sounds like a wonderful study. I'll have to check it out.
I feel like if I never do another thing, Lisa, writing Sweeter Than Honey was what I was born to do. Everything I've ever learned about God, every experience I've ever had, all of the good Bible teaching and preaching I have had the great privilege to sit under has prepared me to write this book. :)
I have done a chronological read through. It is worth the time.
It's a fresh perspective and I highly recommend both the chronological reading through the Bible AND the chronological book of authorship reading as well.
