How Do You Teach Your Children?
This is a breakout post from our 27-day devotional, Come and Gather: Family Time With God, or what we lovingly refer to as Gather. You'll find this post featured in Part Two: Days 6-10 A Walk Through God’s Word.

Our theme today is parental responsibility and our text is from Exodus 12:14-28.

God had come to the point of deliverance for the Israelites. It was now time to free them from bondage, and from the heavy hand of Pharaoh. In preparation for this great work of God directions were given to Moses regarding what to tell the people and how to prepare. This was going to be a great work of God on behalf of His chosen people and for this reason it was to be remembered. God gave clear directions to Moses regarding the observance of the Passover feast. It was in the midst of these important preparations that a lesson was to be taught.

Dealing with Difficulties
This is a breakout post from our 27-day devotional, Come and Gather: Family Time With God, or what we lovingly refer to as Gather. You'll find this post featured in Part Two: Days 6-10 A Walk Through God’s Word.

The theme we are looking at today is the providence of God and our text comes from Genesis chapters 45 and 50.
"And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life. For the famine has been in the land these two years, and there are yet five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on earth, and to keep alive for you many survivors. So it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt." Genesis 45:5-8

This is a breakout post from our 27-day devotional, Come and Gather: Family Time With God, or what we lovingly refer to as Gather. You'll find this post featured in Part Two: Days 6-10 A Walk Through God’s Word.

The theme we are looking at today is fear. It certainly seems appropriate for the times we're currently living in! It's easy for us to be fearful, but the Bible tells us over and over again not to fear. Psalm 56::3, 11 says:
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?”

Look to the Ant to Know #Peace When the Storms Come: A young man applied for a job as a farmhand. When asked for his qualifications, he said,
This is the last in our Tuesday morning series where we have been looking at seven different characters from God's Word.

We've looked at Abraham: God’s Powerful Promise to a Patriarch, Joseph: He Obeyed Quickly & Completely, Moses: Lifting the Hands of God’s Man, Moses & Aaron: The Leaders Punished, David: An Acceptable Offering, and Peter: Why Do You Doubt?

T
oday, we are looking at a character that's not human. We're looking at the ant. There's lots to be learned from this tiny creature.

These characters are also featured in (Part Three: Days 21-27 Men of God Character Study) our Come and Gather: Family Time With God 27-day devotional. Or, what we lovingly refer to as Gather.
