Deuteronomy is good reinforcement for all the truth about God our hearts develop amnesia over.

This was such an encouraging passage to read this morning. This blessed me > "But you who held fast to the Lord your God are alive today, every one of you" (verse 4). As we hold fast to God, we find life.

I think about love letters I've received through the years and you're right that I've read them more than once! How thankful I am to have God's words of love to us.

I am thankful as well, Lisa. How much differently we might look at His Love Letter to us if it were no longer a freedom to read? It's a precious treasure—to be treasured in our heart, to be put to memory, to be cherished. God forbid we ever get to the point where it is no longer a freedom, but we could. We could.
