Outrage and Fear
These things tag-team in our minds as we try and take in everything coming at us from every side. So, what do we do with all of this? How do we separate fact from fiction, truth from lies, direction from deception?
God Speaks to us Through the Bible
His Word has everything we need to know how to live in these strange times we’re facing.
Maybe you’ve been listening to God’s voice in His Word for years, or maybe you’re just beginning. No matter how long we’ve been listening, we could all use a focused time of training our ears to hear Him better.
The book of Proverbs teaches us how to listen to God. As we walk through the verses, taking a chapter of Proverbs each day, we learn what it means to have true wisdom and knowledge with which to face our world.
Because Proverbs has thirty-one chapters, and most months have thirty-one days, there’s a Proverb for each day of the month. A wonderful way to practice hearing God’s voice is to read through Proverbs every month. Over time, you’ll find that you recognize His voice above all the noise around you and you’ll find His hand guiding your steps as you move forward.
In a desire to help others grow in the practice of listening for God’s voice through His Word, I developed a study that will carry you through the Proverb-a-day reading plan.
I’d love to hear your insights as you listen for God’s voice and discover His truth for your everyday walk. You can purchase a digital download of the Listen Bible Study for yourself and others and find additional resources for your study of God’s Word at our new ministry website.
