I have even felt guilty for not being able to stick to a reading plan. Guilty for not being about to read through the Bible in a year as so many of my friends have done.
But that all changed in 2020! Join me over at beLydia to read more about It Is Good. It Is Finished. It Is Done!
Have you ever read the Bible from cover to cover? If so, please share your experience.

After many failed attempts from the time I was a kid, I finally read through the whole Bible! It took me about two years to get all the way through and I used a Bible reading plan on Youversion. I HIGHLY recommend that everyone read through the Bible. I've been in church my whole life and saved when I was 6, but there was so much more in the Bible that I had never read. It was an amazing experience. I'm reading through it again, but taking it one chapter a day so it's going to take a few years, but I like the idea of really studying each chapter one by one.

Yea, Hannah! I'm so glad you made it through! It truly is AMAZING!!! And John was right in Revelation—you WILL be blessed! I find that every time I read God's Word, even if it's a passage I've read before, I learn something new.

I have read through the Bible a few times using a reading plan. I'm doing it now but at a much slower pace this time by choice. It brings a lot to understanding as we tend to read favorite passages and books but not always the entire Bible.

Yes, Joanne! Even in books like Leviticus, which we seem to think of as dry and difficult reading, and I for one thought, "How does that even pertain to me and my life?" I found nuggets of gold—gems—tucked away between the long lists of genealogy.

I have read the bible through in a couple of different ways. But I find there are so many other things I want to study. And I just heard it. It's ridiculous. I need to do this again.

Do it with us in 2022, Lauren! We're building a community of like-minded Christian friends over at the Sweeter Than Honey private Facebook page and we'll be reading the book and God's Word simultaneously in the coming year! I'M SO EXCITED!!!
