After my newborn son passed away, I struggled deeply. I wrestled with God, faith, life, relationships, motherhood, etc. But over the years, God’s Word has dramatically transformed my heart and my mind. Not simply through reading the Bible (which reading is vital!), but seeing it impact other lives as well (this is where the Voice Of The Martyrs comes in).
Because of the impact of the Bible in my life, I knew I needed to send it out to other Christians who may be going through deep trials and would not have free access to a Bible. I am so thankful Voice Of The Martyrs gives people the opportunity to do just that!
But how do I fuel sending Bibles out? A portion of every sale from Redeeming Goods sends Bibles to Christians in restricted nations through Voice Of The Martyrs. Not only do I want to help people get God’s Word into their hearts and homes through Scripture art, but I also want to send it around the world!
Last year I got the opportunity to share with Voice Of The Martyrs how their ministry has impacted my life. Afterward, I was contacted by some staff at VOM saying the story got shared around the office and was an encouragement since they don’t get to hear many stories like that. Months pass, along with many emails and a phone interview… and then I get this in the mail!
I am so excited to be able to share with the world how God has worked in my life through suffering. Soli Deo Gloria!!
My prayer is that this magazine article would be an encouragement. Look to God in suffering! Let Him use your suffering for His glory! Be creative in pointing people to God! Find encouragement and then be an encourager!
