Thank you, Lois. It's so difficult to see the blessings when you're in the midst of brokenness, but when you look back... Wow! What a blessing that broken state can be!

Patsy, I agree with you. Going through brokenness does make us more compassionate. It becomes easier to weep with those who weep.

Brokenness doesn't always feel good while we are in the process (and aren't we always in some way or another) but it does yield the peaceful fruit of righteousness and so many other hidden benefits, doesn't it! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this and for hosting. Blessings!
