7 Reasons to Praise God Today

​The Bible contains numerous references to praising God, with many psalms and other passages devoted specifically to this theme.

These are just a few notable examples:
"Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name." Psalm 100:4

"Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise His holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits." Psalm 103:1-2

"Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise Him!" Psalm 147:1

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!" Psalm 150:6

"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:16-17

These verses, and others like them, emphasize the importance of praising God with our words, songs, and actions, and of acknowledging His goodness and faithfulness to us. Praising God is seen as a natural and essential part of the relationship between God and His people.

7 reasons to praise God today:

1. He watches over you.
   "Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Genesis 28:15
   
   
2. He knows you.
   "But now thus says the Lord, He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.'" Isaiah 43:1
   
   
3. He upholds you.
   "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
   
   
4. He sings over you.
   "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty One Who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing." Zeph. 3:17
   
   
5. He will never leave you.
   "Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20
   
   
6. He guides you.
   "To give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” Luke 1:79

7. He cares about you.
   "Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7
