The Bible uses the metaphor of "seasons" to describe stages and transitions in life. There is no single verse that explicitly mentions a "new season" in life. However, there are many passages that speak about change, growth, and new beginnings.
"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:19
Another translation says, "I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." This verse speaks to God's ability to bring about new beginnings, transforming lives.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation [or creature]. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2 Corinthians 5:17
This verse speaks to the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ. That faith can certainly bring about a new season of life.
"For His anger is but for a moment, and His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning." Psalm 30:5
This verse speaks to the seasonal nature of life. Life can be difficult with its ups and downs. But there is a promise here of new beginnings and joy that follow times of sorrow.
Overall, the Bible encourages us to embrace change. It encourages us to trust in God's guidance as we navigate the various seasons of life. While we are embracing change and trusting God, there are 7 “I Wills” we should also embrace.
Let's look today at these 7 "I Wills" for a new season in life:
These 7 verses give us direction and 7 “I Wills” for every new season of our lives. They tell us to give thanks and recount the wonderful ways God has worked in our lives in the past. They remind us to pray and sing praise, serve the Lord, and walk in integrity. They encourage us not to be fearful, to spend (or give ourselves), and to be spent—used up for the Kingdom of God. Finally, they lay a foundation for us to delight in the commandments of God. Many of these "I Wills" are commandments, and we are to "delight" in them while we carry them out.

I used to dislike the idea of resolutions until I noticed the "I wills" in the Bible. But resolutions are not just for New Year's. We need to be doing these things every day.
