52 Days in Psalms: He Restores My Soul is a Bible reading plan and devotional. It leads the reader through the nineteenth book of the Old Testament—the beloved book of Psalms. It is a book about restoration, praise, and encouragement. It even includes a sprinkle of prophecy.
Each day there is a passage of Scripture to read—usually about 3 chapters. There is also a thought-provoking devotional bringing out something special from that passage. Many times, it’s something unique that you may not have seen before. Along the way, you will read from authors like Adam, Melchizedek, Abraham, Moses, and Solomon. You'll also read the writings of Heman, Jeduthun, Asaph, and the three sons of Korah. Mostly though, you will read the writings of King David as he wrote over half of the Psalms.
52 Days in Psalms: He Restores My Soul is a breakout Bible study from the book Sweeter Than Honey. If you enjoy this 52-day study, you will also enjoy Sweeter Than Honey. I'm glad to hear that Psalm 23 has been an encouragement to you, Debbie. The imagery of the Lord as our Good Shepherd is a poignant reminder that we are not alone, but rather we are guided and cared for by a loving and attentive God. I love how the psalm speaks of green pastures and still waters, symbols of the peace and nourishment that God provides for us.
