Hymns: These are songs written specifically to exalt God and His attributes. The New Testament contains several early hymns, such as the one found in Philippians 2:6–11. Spiritual Songs: These are more spontaneous, Spirit-led expressions of praise and testimony. They reflect a personal walk with God and can be songs of encouragement, faith, and joyful adoration.
