Sweeter Than Honey: Rejoicing in #Heaven explores #Revelation 19 and the powerful #biblical vision of #worship, rejoicing, and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. This #devotional reflection highlights Heaven’s #praise, #God’s righteous judgment, and the #hope #believers have in #Christ. #Discover how the #promise of rejoicing in Heaven strengthens #faith, fuels worship, and anchors the hearts of those whose names are written in the Book of Life. #BookOfLife #Salvation #EternalSecurity #BiblStudy
What if we spent a few quiet moments with God each morning? What if we were intentional about making time for it? And what if we committed to doing that all year long—only to find that by the end of the year, we had read the entirety of God’s Word—His love letter to us?

How many times have you, on January 1, resolved to read the Bible from cover to cover in a year? I’ve made that commitment more times than I can count—and I’ve failed more times than I’d like to admit. But a few years ago, I tried something different. I used a one-year, chronological order of book authorship Bible Reading Itinerary.

Did you know that Genesis wasn’t the first book of the Bible written? While these plans can vary—since it’s impossible to pinpoint exact dates for some books—the plan I used began with the book of Job.

5 Acts of Faith That Will Bring You Peace
“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” Lamentations 3:25–26
In a world that prizes speed, productivity, and instant gratification, the concept of “waiting on the Lord” can feel foreign and frustrating. But in Scripture, waiting is not passive—it’s active. It’s a spiritual discipline rooted in trust, surrender, and hope.

Waiting on the Lord is not about doing nothing; it’s about believing deeply, expecting patiently, and resting confidently in the One who holds all things together. It’s in this kind of waiting that peace begins to bloom.

Today, let's look at 5 acts of faith that Scripture shows us will bring lasting peace to our hearts.

The Four “Fear Nots” of the Christmas Story

#Discover the four “Fear Nots” of the #Christmas story and how #God speaks #peace into #fear. This Christmas #devotional #explores Luke 1-2 and #Matthew 1, #encouraging #Chriatian #believers to #trust God’s #sovereignty, embrace obedience, and #worship #JesusChrist with renewed #faith during the Christmas season. #FaithJourney #WomenInTheWord #Bible
I am not one to read a book repeatedly, even if it was really good, because the fact that I know how it is going to end ruins the suspense of turning the page. Maybe you enjoy the familiarity of an excellent story and return to it and collect new pieces of information with each reading.

Of course, God’s Word is so different from the stacks of books on my shelves in my home. It is the story that recounts His story and how His story intersects and changes my story and yours! It is the one book that I never tire of reading because it is God’s Word! Even with the fathomless truth of God’s Word, there are times when my heart and mind wander, and I struggle to see those truths. Of course, that is no fault of God’s Word, but instead of my own heart, which can quickly be remedied by drawing nigh to God and asking His Holy Spirit to speak to my heart from His Word.

Abide is my word for the New Year. But how can we practically abide in Christ in the New Year?

Every December, I begin praying about my “Word of the Year”—a theme the Lord impresses on my heart for the coming season. Some years it comes quietly; other years it arrives with unmistakable clarity. This year… it was unmistakable. ABIDE. A simple word. A steady word. A necessary word.

And it comes straight from the heart of Jesus Himself: “Abide in Me, and I in you… Whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing… As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Abide in My love… These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” John 15:1–11
